yes there was a physical tumblr building!! for most of tumblr’s history there was 35 E 21st St in Manhattan and it was honestly the best office I’ve ever been in. I don’t have a ton of pictures of just the office but there were two full floors, three half floors, a roof deck, and a “ground” space:

anyway, loved the office & all of the people in it. no permanent ball pit tho.
