Here’s the helmet cam from my race on Sunday with ESMRA. Skip to the end if you just want to see me crash.

I got the holeshot from the second row of the grid in my heat race, got passed about half way through and finished second. In the main I got the holeshot again and tangled up with another rider coming into turn one on lap three. At least I took him down with me.

All together a great weekend of racing. Big thanks to the flaggers for getting the yellow out in time and not letting the whole grid nail us. 

Recently I’ve had the itch to shoot some 35MM again, so I dug out this old friend. My father bought this camera when he was 15. I started using it when I was about the same age for highschool and college photography classes.
I return to it whenever I get sick of the clumsy manual controls on modern SLRs.
