I’ve seen one of these and actually had to photograph it and incorporate it into an ad design for the company I work for. Most Smith charts are actually a pin wheel with three rotating rings. It’s confusing and intricate, but determines very complex relationships in a well-designed way. It’s definitely something you can stare at for hours trying to figure out what it does.
