Give 'um a year
I love designing business cards for people who’ve never had their name on a business card before.
They have a yearning enthusiasm that is completely lost in the Chief Executive ‘X’ that constantly compares your under-budgeted design to the gold leafed, die cut, embossed, linen somethings that have worn his name in the past.

This reminds me of when you and I were interacting with this Jonathan Harris piece at MOMA and a shuttering voice from an older woman behind us shouted “Don’t touch this artwork!!”
